Professor Eckhard Maronn from the Rotary Club of Hamburg is a regular attendee at our Club meetings. Past President Roman Gawrych has helped him with the purchase and renovation of an old Country House in the village of Kaminiec.
To further the cause of German-Polish relationships the professor occasionally holds classical music concerts at the Country House. On the 26th of April Senor Jose Maria Pinzolas gave a piano recital to a full house as listed on the attached programme. We also celebrated the Professor’s birthday.
Eleven representatives of our Club attended a thoroughly entertaining concert and enjoyed an excellent buffet and refreshments. As a special treat the evening concluded with a jazz session by students from the Music Academy at Szczecin.
