Children of the Street
Project Alfred has helped to set up a centre in Szczecin to provide care for children who come from unsettled backgrounds. Very often it is not possible for the children to go home after school because of domestic issues.
The local authorities have provided rooms, where the children can go during out of school hours
Rotary Club Szczecin Pomerania has provided refurbished computers for the use of the children and arranged for the rooms to be carpeted.
Funds have also been donated by local businesses for food to be provided for the children until they can eat at home.
